Even though we only had two days in Dublin, we actually saw a lot of the city, but I guess since we were dealing with 8hr jet lag and no sleep we didn’t take too many photos. Sad. Dublin was super cool though, and really reminded me of Portland.
We stayed in a house that we found on Airbnb..it was the perfect way to start our vacation! I learned from this trip that hotels are a little bit stressful and really not as much fun when you have the opportunity to live like a local
On our last day we walked from the house to Smithfield Plaza where there was a Winter market, it was a vintage/handmade kind of market. Really sweet! I wish we had been able to take photos inside but the light was so bad. I bought some earrings and we bought an ornament gift for our hosts.
The walk to the market was so sunny! Perfect last day in Dublin!
A lot of the doors in Dublin were nice colors like these.
We left Dublin in the early afternoon and as soon as we arrived at the airport it started pouring rain! Then, when we sat down on the airplane there was a beautiful rainbow for us
While we were in Europe I did try really hard to blog, I think I blogged from the airport in Dublin (which turned out to be the best airport during the whole trip, we even stayed overnight there on the way home!). I also blogged when we arrived at the guesthouse in Rome but after that blogging was just hard to find time for. I’m a little sad that I wasn’t able to document the trip in real time, but I did keep a journal/day planner It’ll be fun to go through all of these photos now that I’m home and keep the memories alive!
